It’s good to be back singing again with Nottingham Bach Choir preparing for a Mozart concert in November. New season, new Director of Music (Peter Siepmann), new accompanist (Ed Turner), but same attention to detail to help the choir produce an accurate and exciting performance in its concerts.
It’s good to be back with a new website to show off who we are and invite people to come and join us. If you are new to Nottingham and looking for a good choir to join, consider us – see reviews of our concerts. We are an auditioned choir, but the process is not that stressful, and you get the chance to sing with us for a few weeks before you have the audition. We like you to want to join us as well as considering how well you fit with us as a singer. We rehearse every Tuesday night for two hours from 7.30.pm in St John’s Carrington, near Sherwood, an easy bus journey from Nottingham city centre, where there is plenty of safe on street parking nearby for singers. If you want to know more about joining us as a singer please contact our membership secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org)
If you would like to join us by supporting us, rather than singing, there are many ways in which you can do that – see Support Us. In particular we have developed our Friends and Patrons scheme to make it more appealing to a wider range of people – see Support Us. Do join us, as it helps to sustain our high quality of music making – see past reviews of our performances on our website. If you want to take a step further in sponsoring high quality choral music in Nottingham and Southwell, as well as advertising your company or organisation, please contact the Chair of Nottingham Bach Choir (email@example.com)
