Emily Hodkinson
We are delighted to announce Emily Hodkinson as the winner of the Liz Chant Bursary Award 2018.
On receiving her award Emily comments
“I shall use the bursary to support my studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and this will be a significant and vital part of my development as a professional opera singer. It will provide me with the opportunity to sing with the best possible teachers whilst also receiving comprehensive language and repertoire teaching.”
Emily is a Nottingham-born mezzo-soprano who graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Music from the University of York in 2017, after receiving the highest Final Recital mark in her year.
